10 REASONS WHY SHAHRUKH KHAN IS LITERALLY KING KHAN

In the 2000 decade when almost everything that Shah Rukh Khan did was a super hit unlike the other Khans. It was because SRK dominated the box office success ahead of all the other khans with whom he had a healthy competition for quite a long time, fans gave him the nickname of “King Khan”. There have been instances where in Shah Rukh Khan has literally justified the title of “King Khan” given to him by his fans.

1. SRK crediting his success to him never refusing any opportunity to entertain people. In his Zee TV interview SRK confessed that he never said no to any work that was offered to him, it could be TV, films or any dance at the weddings. He said he was more focused on entertaining people rather than thinking about the medium of work. But all this only if there was dignity in the work he did.

2. In his interview at ‘Friday night with Jonathan Ross’, he was asked if he has every tried to avoid people or the attention that was given to him. SRK very sweetly replied that he had struggled quite a lot to get the fame he had, and that he loved being recognized by the people for the work he is doing.

3. While on an interview with the Berlinale Press Conference, SRK in a very happy way confessed that he felt really happy like a school going kid on his birthday when he was told that he could wear any outfit that he wants to.

4. At his TEX talk he was out spoken on saying that (in a joking manner) that he feels sad for all those who haven’t seen his work. This shows how confident he is when it comes to his profession and undoubtedly that confidence makes magic on big screen.

5. SRK when on an interview with AIB said that he is so much fascinated by how the various rumor affected his mornings. He says that just like all of us even his day starts with checking his phone to know if there is something that he missed out on whole night.

6. When he was asked about his views on joining a political party, he had a very smart yet funny answer saying that he wouldn’t matter joining any party that would start after 12 am.

7. Again in the same Berlinale Press Conference when he represented India, on being asked as to what the movie ‘Om Shanti Om’ wanted to represent. SRK said that people in west had a particular notion about what Indian cinemas are like and the movie ‘Om Shanti Om’ was just the representation of it to show this is how we are and we are proud about it.

8. In an interview with Anupama Chopra, she had asked SRK if he was aware that he had a tendency to be megalomaniacal. On which he had to say that he was aware about that of him and he knew that part existed in him. He confessed that it is hard to not be so especially when he spends so much time with himself and is surrounded by people who know who he is.

9. He has also made sure to encourage the young crowd when he was invited as a chief guest at a school in Mumbai. He had a message for the students saying ‘don’t be afraid of your own creativity. Honor it. It doesn’t always have to be seen or approved by those around you.”

10. One more time in the same school he had also addressed the students by saying that whenever there is a trouble and you see no way out, don’t panic. You will surely survive with a little embarrassment. These words of SRK were simple yet so profound.
